Nail Surgery
Ingrowing toenails are a painful condition that can often be treated by a skilled Podiatrist with routine care, a change in footwear and sometimes lifestyle changes. If however, they become a chronic complaint due to regular recurrence, nail surgery to permanently remove the problematic area can be performed.
A partial nail avulsion is a type of keyhole nail surgery, involving very little discomfort and leaving you with a normal looking nail. Return to work and activity is usually the next day in most cases.
